We are sharing news which is not good for Pakistani cricket fans. The most important batsman of Pakistan team, Muhammad hafeez has been dropped from the skill camp due to his knee injury. He was unable to continue his practice.
As you already know he was also out of 11 in a big match against India in last World T20. Now it happened in the beginning of skill camp that was started at the National Cricket Academy. Although there is not much hope that he will join the training camp soon but he has been monitored by doctors on weekly basis so that if they find him recovered, he would be able to join the team for the England tour starting from June 18.
A fresh MRI shows an improvement in his injured knee. He has also been injured before in March and doctors has diagnosed stress problem so they have recommended him complete rest. If he takes complete rest it will be very helpful for his rehabilitation regimen and there would be more chances of his quick recovery. As all the Pakistan team is busy in ongoing fitness training camp, he has missed this camp which is ongoing at Pakistan Military Academy Abbottabad under special Army trainers.
Hafeez is facing this injury since last World T20 and he has also missed some big matches due to this mishap. Since that time he is doing rest and undergoing extensive treatment as it is the need of his quick rehabilitation. Doctors have suggested him not to attend any net session. He is desperate to join the net sessions but doctors are against it. Joining net sessions could be more harmful for his recovery so it is better to take complete rest as it is the only way for a quick rehabilitation.
